Combining her studies in human biology and her experience in the banking world, Ms. Sterzel started her professional career at various agencies, where she provided communications support for IPOs, among other things. She then spent almost 10 years working as a PR and IR manager for companies in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors before joining Merck in Darmstadt in 2011, where she is a director in the IR team responsible for sustainability and corporate governance.
