Sophie Paillez-Capian joined BIC in 2007. Following several years as Investor Relations Director, she served as External Relations Director for five years before assuming the role of Vice-President Corpoarte Stakeholder Engagement in 2018. In this role, she is responsible for developing and communicating BIC's purpose, vision, strategy and business results to shareholders, global NGOs, public authorities, the regulator, and global media.

Prior to joining BIC, she was Deputy Head of Investor Relations at France Telecom. This role followed investor relations activities at Groupe GAN and Lafarge.

Sophie Paillez-Capian holds a Master's degree in Corporate Communcation and Public Relations from cELSA Sorbonne Université. She is also a Board Member and Vice-President of IR CLIFF.
